Blue Indicating Silica Gel Beads

Wisesorb blue indicating beads, sized 2-4mm, change color within a humidity range of 20%-50%, transitioning from blue to pink when fully saturated with moisture. A crucial reminder: the initial color change does not indicate full saturation; the beads continue to absorb until reaching 50% RH. For optimal performance, we recommend periodic checks to ensure the silica gel beads are effective.

Thanks to its clear window, our desiccant canister allows you to monitor the color of the silica gel beads without opening the container. If the beads change from blue to pink, it indicates that the relative humidity is above 50%. With an effective volume of 600 cubic feet, this desiccant canister ensures efficient moisture absorption and protection for enclosed storage spaces.

Easy Reactivation

Reactivating your reusable silica gel canister is straightforward. Simply place it in an oven at a temperature between 200°F and 250°F for 0.5 to 3 hours (avoid exceeding 250°F) to restore the beads to their original blue color. Depending on the condition of the silica gel beads, reactivation may require less time than the recommended duration. Regularly check the color of the silica gel beads to maintain optimal performance.
